The Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) of all employed by Convoluted Technologies Pty Ltd; those visiting our site; those contracted to work for us; and those who purchase our products is considered to be of the utmost importance. Resources in line with the importance attached to WH&S will be made available to comply with all relevant Acts and Regulations and to ensure that the workplace and the equipment we supply are safe and without risk to health.
Manager: The promotion and maintenance of WHS is primarily the responsibility of management. Management’s responsibility is to develop, implement and keep under review, in consultation with its employees, Convoluted Technologies Pty Ltd WHS Program. Each manager is required to ensure that this policy and the WHS Program are developed and effectively implemented in their areas of control, and to support employees and hold them accountable for their specific responsibilities.
Employees: Each employee is responsible, and will be held accountable, for taking all practical measures to ensure that in their area of control the WHS Program is complied with, that employees are consulted in issues which affect their health and safety, supervised and trained to meet their requirements under this Program. Employees are responsible for referring all WHS matters and concerns to management so that management can take the appropriate actions if required.
All employees are required to co-operate with the WHS Policy and Programs to ensure their own health & safety, that of others in the workplace and those who purchase our products.
Contractors: All contractors engaged to perform work on Convoluted Technologies premises or locations are required, as part of their contract, to comply with the WHS policies, procedures and programs of Convoluted Technologies Pty Ltd and to observe directions on health and safety from Convoluted Technologies Pty Ltd employees. Failure to comply or observe a direction will be considered a breach of contract and sufficient grounds for termination of the contract.
In order to implement this policy, a program of activities and procedures will be established, implemented and continually reviewed. The program will relate to all aspects of WHS including:
- Training, education and provision of information to employees and contractors
- Work and workplace design, standard work methods and their review when required
- Provision of WHS equipment, services and facilities
- Workplace inspections, evaluations, emergency procedures and drills
- Reporting and recording of incidents, accidents, injuries and illness
